Manhattan's Chinatown: Cha Siu Bao at Hop Shing

Las Hermanas Wang, the creators of Manhattan's Chinatown Map

I met up with Charlene and Tiffany at Hop Shing, a dim sum spot featured on ‘Manhattan’s Chinatown’ in Chatham Square known for their cha siu bao, or baked pork buns.

Las Hermanas Wang chose cha siu bao from Hop Shing as their favorite pocket food, because it reminds them of visiting their grandma in Massachusetts, who would always have a box of assorted pastries out for them when they arrived to visit, and these pork buns were their favorite.
