4. DFG Asian Street Food

Dang F’in Good, or DFG, which has been voted best of the city by Austin Monthly, operates off of their truck, trailer and cafeteria calendar to keep us updated of their whereabouts throughout the week. Their current special on rotation is Chicken Adobo, the national dish of the Philippines! “5 wings and an egg braised in a perfectly balanced sweet and tangy, and oh so wickedly addicting brown sugar and vinegar soy-based sauce, laid over jasmine rice that is about to be bathed in a ladle of au jus! Your day is about to get a whole lot better.” Their chicken adobo is actually the only Filipino dish on the menu, which means you can enjoy other Asian street food specialties like curry meatballs and “The Empress” along with the national dish of the Philippines.
